2022 Lubbock mayor, council, school board election results


A voter is seen on primary Election Day, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church. Municipal election day is this Saturday, May 7.

Saturday is Election Working day for municipal and university board elections across the area.

Polls shut at 7 p.m. and early voting success have appear in. By 5:30 p.m. on Election Day, extra than 5,200 more votes had been cast. People have been not factored in to the early voting figures.

Tray Payne: 12,961 votes – 67.67 percent

Gulrez “Gus” Khan: 603 votes – 3.15 percent

Epifanio “Key” Garza: 341 votes – 1.78 per cent

District 1 Town Council

Christy Martinez-Garcia: 960 votes – 65.71 %

Pat Kelly: 501 votes – 34.29 percent

District 5 Town Council

Randy Christian: 633 votes – 13.36 percent

Jennifer Wilson: 2,526 votes – 53.32 percent

Monthly bill Felton: 81 votes – 1.71 percent

Keri Thomas: 828 votes – 17.48 percent

Chase Head: 669 votes – 14.12 percent
