School of Coastal Ga not too long ago appointed Joseph Lodmell as the new director of the Camden Middle, an extension of the college’s campus.
Lodmell has served as interim director considering the fact that August 2019 and succeeded Bill Garlen.
Lodmell is a long-time resident of Camden County. He has 26 a long time of leadership working experience in the U.S. Navy and deep connections to the Naval base and Camden community, in accordance to a release from the school. He has also served as a school member for the faculty for quite a few several years.
“Mr. Lodmell has led the heart with excellence and has created new connections with the naval foundation and in Camden County,” stated Johnny Evans, provost and vice president for educational affairs at the school. “I am pleased to announce that we are getting rid of ‘interim’ from his title and naming him the director of the Camden Centre.”
The Camden Centre is an extension centre of CCGA found in Kingsland. The campus gives a selection of core classes in humanities, mathematics, social sciences, organic sciences, business enterprise and instruction. The middle also homes the college’s culinary arts associate degree plan.
“The Camden Center is the place for younger Camden County graduates to easily and affordably take their initially actions toward a school diploma,” Lodmell explained. “For moms and dads, it is a spot to commence a diploma or end a diploma they may have commenced yrs ago ahead of daily life acquired in the way, and it is a spot for our Kings Bay armed service associates and their households to keep on their education. We are happy to deliver these types of an invaluable support to the group, and are seeking ahead to developing additional associations all through Camden.”
