Simple Ways to Transform You Health

In Power Tools to Success, the podcast episode, we spoke to Ronald Abvajee who is a Health and Fitness Expert to ask him how you can transform your health and fitness in as little as ten days. The subject of health and fitness is not an easy one, there too many contradicting advises for diet and so are exercise programs. In life you succeed when you do what you love and enjoy. The strategies we share with you are meant to help you start with fitness and exercise from a place of enjoyment. Only after you start enjoying fitness and exercise can you get into serious exercise programs. The truth is there are simple ways to transform your health and fitness that you can begin to use today, immediately. Here are the few of them:

  • Do not eat for taste, eat for sustenance. Eating for taste leads you to eat not only unhealthy meals but larger meals too. So try to eat for energy so that you are able to get on with your day and carry your work every day.
  • Get up from the couch every day, walk, take a walk with your kids, or walk your dogs or walk with your partner. A simple walk every day can lead to burning of calories up to 250 and goes along way towards your health and fitness goals.You do not have to stick to walking perhaps you can do what you like, play tennis with a friend if you want to or run or play touch rugby. Whatever gets you off the couch and gets you physical, do it. The more fun the better.
  • Avoid sugar drinks. Rather, drink raw fruits. Invest in a juicer. Drink a lot of water too.
  • Vegetarians stand a better chance of losing weight than meat eaters. You don’t have to become a vegetarian but you can go without meat for a week or two and watch see if doing so helps with you weight. For most people, going without meat a few days on their diet helps. When not eating meat most people eat less than they normally would. This can help a great deal towards your goal of losing weight.

The above strategies will help you improve your health and fitness in as little as ten days. Once motivated enough, you can then start a formal exercise and diet program to help you reach your fitness goals.
